Independent review
Hands-on setup, compatibility, performance, reliability, ergonomics and real-world use, with comparisons or measurements where they add value.
Public coverage when it fitsProduct reviews / partnerships / QA
I'm building an independent technology review and comparison series from Calgary, Canada. I work with products hands-on: setting them up, measuring what matters, finding compatibility problems, and showing where they fit in real use.

01 / WAYS TO PARTNER
The useful part starts after the box is opened. Each opportunity is scoped around what the product needs and what potential users genuinely need to know.
Hands-on setup, compatibility, performance, reliability, ergonomics and real-world use, with comparisons or measurements where they add value.
Public coverage when it fitsStructured evaluation before launch, including setup friction, edge cases, workflow problems, compatibility gaps and actionable product feedback.
Confidential scope by agreementReproducible issue reports, environment details, severity notes, regression checks and practical testing across relevant hardware or software workflows.
Evidence, not vague impressionsCanadian-market context, launch timing, continued use in future projects, follow-up coverage and ongoing relationships when the product earns a lasting place.
Built around genuine use02 / REVIEW PROCESS
Not every product needs the same test plan. The process stays consistent while the actual evaluation follows the product.
I confirm the product, audience, timing, sample arrangement and whether the opportunity is public, private or both.
I define the questions worth answering: setup, compatibility, benchmarks, reliability, defects, workflows or long-term use.
The product is used in realistic conditions. Issues are reproduced, measurements are documented and claims are checked against what the hardware or software actually does.
Depending on the agreement, findings may become public coverage, private QA feedback, a comparison, a deployment case study or a longer-term content relationship.
03 / PRIVATE TESTING
Pre-production hardware, firmware, applications and connected-device workflows often need a fresh set of hands before customers find the problems. Private engagements can focus on installation, onboarding, compatibility, failure recovery, regressions, confusing behaviour and repeatable defects.

REGRESSION CHECKREADY
Start the form with a non-confidential summary. If an NDA or private test plan is needed, mention that without pasting unreleased specifications, credentials or proprietary files into the form.
04 / INDEPENDENCE + DISCLOSURE
Complimentary, loaned, demo, media, engineering, validation, pre-production, previous-generation, B-stock, open-box and refurbished products can all be considered. Public findings reflect the actual evaluation. If testing uncovers material problems, private technical feedback may be the most useful first outcome.
05 / PROPOSE A PRODUCT
Tell me what the product is, what kind of collaboration you have in mind and any timing that matters. A useful proposal is more important than a polished pitch.
