Project inquiries

When you submit the contact form, I receive the name, email address, project type, budget range, and message you provide. The submission is stored privately on my server and may also be delivered by email. I use it only to respond to your inquiry and manage a possible working relationship.

Partnership and product submissions

When you propose a product review, private pre-production evaluation, bug-testing or QA engagement, launch coverage, or another partnership, I receive the contact, company, product, timing, opportunity type, and proposal details you provide. The submission is stored privately on my server and may also be delivered by email. I use it only to assess and respond to the proposal and manage a possible working relationship.

The first submission should be non-confidential. Please do not include unreleased product details, credentials, source code, customer data, or other secrets. Confidential handling or a non-disclosure agreement can be arranged separately when appropriate.

Payments

Optional support payments are processed by Stripe. Markshaw.ca does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

Analytics and session replay

This site uses Microsoft Clarity on each visit as required operational measurement to understand interaction patterns through heatmaps and privacy-masked session recordings. In regions where Microsoft requires an explicit consent signal, Microsoft may automatically limit cookie use, session continuity, and replay functionality.

This site also uses Google Analytics 4 on each visit to measure traffic sources, page usage, project and partnership inquiries, and outbound social-media link activity.

Google and Microsoft may receive technical information such as device and browser details, approximate location derived from an IP address, pages visited, and interaction data. Form field values, contact details, payment details, and project messages are not intentionally sent to these analytics tools. Basic server logs

The web server may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps for security and reliability. Form-submission IP addresses are stored only as one-way hashes for abuse prevention.

Cookies and advertising

This site does not install social-network advertising pixels or use tracking to serve ads. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use analytics cookies or similar identifiers for the measurement described above. Stripe may use required cookies on its hosted checkout page.
